Do you see the Elephant in the room? Can you recognize his disguise? He is the biggest thing in the room, but he changes color to camouflage himself to match the scenery, so he can remain hidden. He is just like a lizard, he adjust to his environment without making his environment conform to him. He fits right in. Why is the elephant in the room? The elephant is there to hinder your purpose and to attack you identity in Christ. He do not want to you know who you are in Christ Jesus. How did the elephant get there? He came in through the gate of COMPROMISE. The place where you allowed subtle compromise in the area’s you thought did not matter and no one knew. How do we get rid of the elephant? We get rid of the elephant by dismantling the tactics of the enemy piece by piece and dealing with the hidden sins that everyone want to ignore; the sins no one want to talk about. This is the job of the Prophet to expose that which is hidden, that which is prohibited to talk about, that which have been allowed, and that which have been accepted throughout the generations. Prophets see the elephant in the room and are not afraid to call it out, cut its head off and clean up after it is over; the mandate of a Prophet.
Jeremiah 1:9-10 Then the Lord put out his hand and touched my mouth. And the Lord said to me, “Behold, I have put my words in your mouth. See, I have set you this day over nations and over kingdoms, to pluck up and to break down, to destroy and to overthrow, to build and to plant.” Dea. Janice Rock

When Samuel was born into this world he was shortly given to the priest of the land, Eli to be raised in the ministry of Yahweh. He was being taught of the priesthood and reared as a priest. He, has he was still with Eli and older, shifted into the prophetic mantle. That mantle of authority was birthed out of his priesthood relationship and training via the vessel of Eli. In the mist of his training he had to eventually hear and understand the voice of Yah. It took him awhile but when he received that guidance from his mentor Eli he was able to flow in the vein of what Yahweh established in him.
We should gleam upon this story as a mode of discovery. We need to discovery what and who we are and one of the best ways to do this is to examine our childhood. I belief Yahweh will expose our purpose and destiny on some levels via our childhood. Think back on your experiences as a child and watch what the Lord will reveal to you concerning a specific issue in your life. We must be willing to posture ourselves to discover. It does not have to be complex but think about. When you go out into the forest or in a mountainous terrain your mind will go into a discovery mode. You will be draw to pay close attention to your surroundings. Various things will catch your attention. It is intended for you to do this. It is in our spiritual DNA to seek what we can find through our journey in this flesh suit that we are in. Now lets shift to us. You were created to experience a destiny and purpose for life and you can readily miss the mark on this. My desire is that kingdom citizens will actively walk in their destiny and purpose and know what it is. Ask yourself the question...what is my destiny and purpose for life? Then ask the Lord that same question and in turn humble yourself and be patience for His response. It is very clear today that man is not willing to be patient but at times we must be patient in His work.Discovering who and what we are is sometimes held up in us not asking the question and seeking the face of Yahweh for the answer. |
