A Prophetic Company
The Watchmen Society is a prophetic college of apostolic and prophetic people who share a ministerial community, interact with and support each other, and submit to one another's professional endorsement. Our biblical model is taken from the pattern of the School of the Prophets who were under the tutelage and mentorship of Samuel who served as an Overseer/Chief Prophet. (see 1 Samuel 10:11; Isaiah 8:16)
Our place in the local body is to create an atmosphere for prophetic activity to take place in order to serve and assist the Pastors and Leadership in their responsibility to edify, exhort, comfort, and train the church to become quality ministers of reconciliation.
A Prophetic Institution
The students of this prophetic college will consist of prophets, psalmists, intercessors, discerners, prophetic praise warriors (War & Worship Team), ministrels, apostolic worshippers, etc. to make up a collective group of capable agents who will be charged with the task of assisting the gift of the Apostle/Prophet in the local church.
A Prophetic Presbytery
This school of prophetic people will also serve as a prophetic presbytery as they grow up to be elders who minister collectively under the Prophet's mantle as extensions of the prophet's gubernatorial administration. This alliance forms a prophetic covering through uniformity of purposes, laying aside personal agendas, and fully submitting to the corporate assignment of becoming one with the convocation to prophetic leadership.
Prophetic Duties
Our prophetic duties include: delivering the Word of the Lord, vocational declaration, uttering predictive prophecies, ministering words of knowledge and words of wisdom, prophetic interpretation of biblical passages, relevance and clarity to scripture, and spiritual insight and edification as a support miinistry to the leadership of our local assemblies.
Our role is to set an environment through conferences, forums, and services that produce the prophetic voice to our generation and future generations for the edification of the body of Christ. Through warfare and worship, prophetic praise, intercession, and preaching we serve as catalysts for the prophetic in our local churches.
Prophetic Genre
Our target market to the "Christian" Faith will be in the form of the prophetic genre. This is the category of knowledge, information, and substance unique to the prophetic ministry. The products and services we produce will be for the purpose of aiding us in our mandate to create a prophetic guard/hegemony for the perpetuation of uncompromising declarations of truth in our local churches.
A Prophetic Culture
We exist to influence all territories within our scope with the prophetic. We cultivate and nurture all the spheres which yield to prophetic ministry. Prophecy consists of various forms of spiritual expression in the Kingdom of God. These prophetic dialects are expressed in various forms such as the apocalyptic, poetic, revelatory, inspirational, creative, demontrative, and psalmist spheres which serve as tools for the Holy Spirit to manifest the Godhead to His people for His own will and purposes.
P.A.R.A.D.I.G.M.
We confess that we are prophets and apostles who wage war against darkness by illuminating this generation's messengers. By illumination we mean that we will stand as a light to a dark generation by revealing the light of Christ. We maintain that our lifestyles will be lived according to disciplines dictated by prophetic perceptions which will allow other to see Christ in us and be reconciled through our witness.
