The Watchmen Society was birthed through the spirit of Elder Terrance L. Frederick. One day, God showed him in Ezekiel 33 that he was to be a watchman to warn his generation of the sword that was coming upon the land. God told him that if he disobeyed and chose convenience and comfort rather than truth, then he was going to be held personally accountable for the souls that he could have prevented from the second death.

Shortly afterward, Terrance brought his conviction to Love Covenant Church (LCC) at Thursday night Bible study in the form of a message. This message was only the second one he had ever preached, but after this Word, he knew for himself that he was called to proclaim the gospel of Christ.

Soon after, God gave Terrance a vision of a massive amount of young people taking over the streets and hosting block parties, car and bike shows, and celebrations. However, it was not Freaknic or Biker's week he was envisioning. The people in his vision were those of the kingdom of God, flaunting their territorial dominion in public view. In this vision, Christians were the trendsetters instead of the heathens. Then, he saw dark images of sinners outside the gate looking in with piercing red eyes. They were full of envy and jealousy.

That same week, one of the LCC youth, Clarence Sermons, had a dream of many young people on stage. Clarence said he saw a name in the dream, but it was not clear until Terrance said "We are going to form a Holy Gang, and our name will be The Watchmen." Instantly, the name in Clarence’s dream became clear. Thus, Watchmen Ministries (The Watchmen) was informally established with Minister Terrence as founder and Clarence Sermons as his 1st recruit.

God continued to give both of them vision concerning the future of Watchman Ministries. As the momentum grew, many more youth in LCC joined until a strange thing happened. God began to give specific instructions concerning how He wanted the ministry built. He showed the end, and then rewound to the beginning. As a result of these instructions, the turnover rate tremendously increased. Just as soon as individuals joined, others dropped out. The Lord was pruning The Watchmen and slowly revealing to Minister Terrance, a.k.a GodzSun, the direction the ministry was heading.

The Lord began to place key people from other ministries in The Watchmen in order to expand its influence. It became evident that God wanted them to become a society and not merely a “gang” or a “click.” The vision of the holy gang that God revealed previously was a product of Minster Terrance’s frame of reference. At the time of the vision, he was a recently rededicated believer who still had the world's residue on him. Therefore, he could only relate to the secular concepts to which he was exposed.

The concept of society that the Lord was revealing to Minister Terrance was present in the Bible. For instance, in the Old Testament, the Levitical priesthood and the temple workers were neighbors. The school/band of the Prophets traveled together and lived amongst one another. They were a society. God wants The Watchmen to be a society that not only threatens the negative and dark influence in media and entertainment, but also crushes the heads of today's great cultural serpents.

The Watchmen Society continues to advance, and as time progresses, Christ makes the vision clearer. Watchmen Ministries is under the structure of Love Covenant Church.
